Itzhak Brook MD, Professor of Pediatrics Georgetown University in Washington DC will share his own expreinces from the 6 days war, 1967, in which the Old City of Jerusalem was liberated by the IDF.
Dr. Brook a speaker for the Israeli Embassy in Washington DC on the Yom Kippur War, (http://www.israelemb.org/washington/Speakers-Guide/Society-and-Politics/Pages/Itzhak-Brook.aspx) and the author of the book “In the Sands of Sinai, a physician’s account of the Yom Kippur War”.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem. Dr. Brook served as medic in the 6 Day War in Jerusalem and personally witnessed those historical days.
