It’s a night at the movies—and an evening to support JFS! Jewish Family Service invites the community for conversation, cocktails, appetizers and a special showing of the film A Lady in the Van.  Starring Maggie Smith, the heartwarming comedy tells the story of "a man [who] forms an unexpected bond with a transient woman living in her van that's parked in his driveway."

The event is from 5-8 pm on Monday, Aug. 22, at The Nightlight Cinema, 30 North High Street in Akron. Doors open at 4:30, with the reception starting at 5 pm and the movie at 6 pm. The cost is $40 and proceeds benefit JFS. Register at jfsmovie.eventbrite.com.
