Thanks to funding from this summer’s JCBA crowdfunding campaign, significant and much-needed landscaping and monument work was done at Sherbondy Hill Cemetery. Over 14 headstones were lifted and secured in place. Major landscaping work was done to make some previously hidden headstones visible again.
 
There will be a re-dedication ceremony of Sherbondy Hill Cemetery in early spring 2016 for the entire community. Details will be published in a future Akron Jewish News.
