All women and girls are invited to bake challah together as a community on Wednesday, Nov. 9. Akron's Jewish women's groups are hosting the third annual Mega Challah Bake at Anshe Sfard. Registration and hors d'oeuvres start at 5 pm, with the program running from 5:30-8 pm.

Join women and girls of all ages as we knead, braid and shape Shabbat and Rosh Hashanah challahs. This is a unique opportunity to ask for blessings and pray together for people in need.

• Each participant will make two challahs for herself and one to give away with love.
• Use assorted recipes and creative challah braiding workshop
• Learn the Kabbalistic significance of the mitzvah of "taking challah."
• Enjoy music and a light dinner, catered by Efrat Ohayon.
