In this season of remembering and preparing for the New Year, we invite you to join us for a brief service in Memory of the Six Million Jews who perished in the Holocaust. The service will take place Sunday, September 3rd at 10:00 AM at Workmen’s Circle Cemetery on Swartz Road. The Yom HaShoah Committee, community wide planning committee for remembering victims of the Holocaust, and Beth El’s newest religious leadership, Rabbi Elyssa Austerklein and Hazzan Matt Austerklein invites everyone to come and place a stone of remembrance at Workmen’s Circle Memorial to the Six Million Monument. The monument in Memory of The Six Million who Perished Al Kiddush Hashem 1939-1945 was dedicated by Workmen’s Circle Members as a place for the Akron Jewish community to come together to remember those lost.
