You’re invited to provide feedback on campus and community security, crisis response and protocols to assist Jewish Akron in developing a comprehensive crisis communications plan.
In recent months, JCBA convened community leaders to address communication protocols, and this group subsequently engaged The Impact Group, a local public relations agency and recognized industry expert in crisis communications strategy, to develop a training and communications plan that will unite the messaging and crisis response plans of our Jewish communal organizations in the Akron area.
The next step in this process is to conduct a number of focus groups to allow agency stakeholders, parents, staff, members and community leaders to participate and weigh in on what’s working and what can be improved – and we invite you to participate. No RSVP is required. If you’re unable to participate, an online survey will be made available on www.jewishkakron.org.
Your feedback will assist us in developing a comprehensive crisis communications plan that will help prepare the Schultz Campus for Jewish Life and the Akron Jewish community for any crisis or issue we may face now or in the future.
Location: Schultz Campus for Jewish Life Mercaz Room, 750 White Pond Drive, Akron, OH (park in front lot and enter through main doors.)
