Jewish Family Service was founded in 1913. Whether in individual or
family counseling, serving the needs of the aged at home or in Jewish homes for
the aged, in adoption, immigrant resettlement and in family life education,
Jewish Family Service continues its mission to serve the needs of our community.
Jewish Family Service is located on the second floor of the Shaw JCC. To ensure client privacy and
confidentiality, Jewish Family Service has a private entrance on the second floor of the Summa Health System addition
to the building. Clients can use the north entrance to the building and take the stairs or elevator to the agency's
private entrance on the second floor.
The offices of New Choices, the agency's social program for adults 60 and over, is located on the main floor of the Shaw JCC,
around the corner from the auditorium meeting rooms. For a schedule of New Choices events, check our
Community Events Listing.
