The Jerome Lippman Jewish Community Day School is a
state-accredited school that offers exceptional learning opportunities in a warm, nurturing
environment. Founded in 1965, it offers a rich curriculum that is child-focused to meet the
diverse educational needs of our students. Our mission is to provide the highest quality
education, Jewish and secular, which strengthens and promotes Jewish identity and continuity,
academic excellence and good citizenship.
Serving children in kindergarten through grade eight, Lippman Day School has outstanding faculty and
resources. All Lippman teachers are state certified and participate in ongoing professional
development. They promote a caring and motivating environment in their classrooms, fostering what is
special in each child. They encourage students to share responsibility for their education and support
a learning partnership based on mutual respect. A love of learning Hebrew and Torah, combined with a foundation
of knowledge and a sense of community instills students with a positive Jewish identity.
Goals of the Lippman Day School are to help children:
- Nurture a respect and love for the Torah and God
- Instill Jewish values and ethics
- Experience well-rounded academic and social experiences.
- Learn independence.
- Develop strong work-study skills

Lippman Day School is a community school and does not follow any specific ideological
movement. Students learn about the different expressions of Judaism with an appreciation of their
beliefs and practices, and how we join together to form the Jewish people.
Students discover and enjoy the beauty of their heritage and how historical experiences have
shaped the Jewish community today.
An emphasis on technology includes computer laboratories, computers in each classroom, access to the
Internet and weekly instruction in the Media Center.
A state of the art Science Laboratory offers a multi-station design and provides real-life
experiences.
Students learn about the importance of a Jewish homeland
to the Jewish people, which culminates in an eighth grade
trip to Israel.
